RKW are working with the Acute Trust and the 5 Local Health Boards in and around Newport, South Wales on a SOC for major reconfiguration of Primary and Acute services which, it is envisaged, will see a capital investment in excess of £750m. RKW's work with the Trust covers all aspects of the project including developing new models of care, service activity, financial modelling and estates options appraisal. Simultaneously, RKW have also lead in the development and presentation of the business case for the provision of non clinical services across the Gwent Healthcare community. This project has focused on the formulation of the business case and in particular uses the 5-case model which is currently in force as the mandatory method of business case production in Wales.
