RKW are retained as Trust healthcare planning advisers to this development and are providing expertise and support to ensure that, on completion clinical functionality and hospital sizing are not unduly compromised compared to an optimum configuration achievable in a single phase new build development. Currently Alder Hey is located on a conjested site of multiple buildings dating from the 1900's onwards. The development scheme is currently at Outline Business Case stage and is anticipated to be procured under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI).
