Overview

Projects

RKW are used to operating in complex and highly charged environments where there are strongly held and competing viewpoints. We have been instrumental in engaging stakeholders and building consensus through a combination of rigorous and objective analysis, effective interpersonal results and political realism.

RKW developed a tool to assess the capacity and financial implications in managing the delivery of waiting time targets on an HRG basis across all Welsh NHS Trusts. This toolkit enables activity to be modelled and monitored at HRG level by the Trust and can accommodate changes in future activity projection as well as changes in interim waiting time targets and performance.

RKW completed this framework brief in October 2007, which builds upon the decision to secondary services based in Dublin along with national tertiary services in a new children's hospital - potentially co-located with a maternity hospital. As part of our work we engaged clinical advisers from Canada, the USA and the UK and contacted more than 20 children's hospitals internationally.
