RKW were commissioned by the Welsh Assembly Government to undertake the Pathology Modernisation Study. This was a review of the existing pathology services across South Wales in order to ensure that any future developments would meet future service user requirements as identified in 'Designed for Life' and the 'Diagnostic Services Strategy'. The study resulted in a comprehensive report with recommendations intended to inform development of an effective service to patients across the South Wales health economy.
